Day 3, Sunday |
Today you will visit Madaba where you will see some of the finest Byzantine mosaic in the world. Nearby is historic Mt. Nebo, with a remarkable view of the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and the spires of Jerusalem in the distance. Sightseeing of the city of Amman. (b) |

Day 4, Monday |
Travel to Petra hidden away in the encircling rock mountains south of the Dead Sea. Drive over the desert highway to this "rose-red city" carved out of rock over 2000 years ago. Return to Amman. (b) Overnight PALM PALACE HOTEL, Amman |

Day 5, Tuesday |
Transfer to the Allenby bridge for crossing into Jerusalem. (b) Overnight ARIEL HOTEL, Jerusalem |

Day 6, Wednesday |
Depart for Mt. Scopus and Kidron valley to reach the City of David. Visit the Western Wall, Temple Mount, and the Mosques. Walk through Via Dolorosa, and the Holy Sepulchre. Visit the Jewish quarter, and Roman Cardo. On to Mt. Zion, and the Tomb of King David. (b) |

Day 7, Thursday |
Visit the modern city of Jerusalem, the Hebrew University and the Israel Museum - Shrine of the Book, where the Dead Sea Scrolls are exhibited. Visit Yad Vashem, the remembrance of the Holocaust. Continue to Bethlehem to visit the Church of the Nativity. (b) |

Day 8, Friday |
Depart to the Dead Sea and Judean Desert. Ascend by cable car to the fortress of Massada which was the last redoubt of Jewish rebels in their battle against the Romans. Possible time to float in the waters of the Dead Sea. (b) |

At leisure. (b) |

Transfer to the Tel Aviv airport Depart to New York Kennedy , Miami, or Los Angeles (via Istanbul). |
