You will be met at the airport and assisted through customs and immigrations.  Please note that you have to identify your luggage once through immigrations by placing it on a luggage cart that will accompany you to your private car.  You will be driven to your hotel.

Monday

Today you will tour the Egyptian Museum that houses the most spectacular collections of Egyptian artifacts.  Here you will view the treasures found in King Tut’s Tomb.  You will also visit the Citadel, the Mosque and the bazaars.

In the afternoon tour Giza, site of the three great pyramids. Here you will have the opportunity to climb within Cheop’s Pyramid to view the inner chamber.  Continue onward to see the elusive Sphinx and the Valley Temple. (b)

Tuesday

Transfer to the airport flight to Aswan where you will be met and taken to board your Nile cruise ship.

Afternoon felucca sail to Elephantine Island, Agha Khan Mausoleum and the Botanical Gardens. (b,l,d)

Wednesday

Morning visit of the High Dam, Granite Quarries, the Unfinished Obelisk and the Temple of Philae.  Depart for Kom Ombo and the Temple of Two Gods.  Continue along the Nile to Edfu. (b,l,d)

Morning departure from cruise ship. Ferry crossing to the Western Bank to see the Valley of the Kings, Queen Hatshepsut’s temple and the Colossi of Memnon.

Afternoon transfer to Luxor airport for your flight to Cairo to connect with your flight to Amman.

Amman/Madaba/Mt Nebo/

After breakfast at the hotel, departure for a tour to south of Amman to visit Madaba and Mount Nebo the highest in the Moabit range which has been a center for pilgrimages since earliest Christian times. Madaba has some of the finest Byzantine mosaics in the world including the famous 6th century mosaic map of Palestine.

Drive to the all inspiring Wadi Mujib along the Moabit ridge to Kerak castle which was built in the 12th century, Continue to Petra.  (b)

Petra/Amman

After breakfast at the hotel, departure for a full day tour to the Red Rose City Petra. Upon arrival you will begin an unforgettable trip on horse back till the Siq after by foot till you reach the Treasury. The local guide will give a brief history of the city the greatest tourist attraction in the middle East. The Nabateans carved this capital of theirs from the living rock of the surrounding mountains in Petra. Among other monuments for the visitors today are Pharaoh's Castle, the Triumphal arch, the amphitheater and monastery.

Today you will visit the ancient Greco Roman city of Jerash. The local guide will take you for a tour through the colonnaded street, amphitheater, churches, temples and the vast Roman Forum. (b)

Thursday

Today drive through the Old City.  Visit the Shrine of the Book at the Israel Museum to see the Dead Sea Scrolls.  Continue to Hadassah Synagogue to enjoy the Marc Chagall Vitraux that depicts the Twelve Tribes of Israel.  Proceed to Yad Vashem to honor the memory of the Holocaust victims.  Going back two thousand years, visit the Model of Jerusalem as she existed in times of the Second Temple.

Continue to Bethlehem only a twelve-minute drive south of Jerusalem to visit the fourth-century Basilica of the Nativity, one of the world's oldest churches.  The simple silver star in the grotto beneath the altar marks the very place Christians believe the infant Jesus was born. (b)

Today drive through the New City.  Drive to Mount Scopus, Gethsemane.  Visit the Western Wall, the Temple Mount and the Mosques, the Via Dolorosa and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.  Visit the Jewish Quarter, the Roman Cardo.  Visit the Mount Zion with the Tomb of King David, the Room of the Last Supper and the Dormition Abbey

Drive to Nazareth, visit the church of Annunciation and St. Joseph's carpentry. Continue to Cana of Galilee site of first miracle. View of Mt of Beatitudes and Tabgha site of the miracle of the Fishes and Loaves.

Visit Capernaum, the city of Jesus. Drive to Tiberias to the site of Baptism on the Jordan River. Return to the hotel via the scenic view of Mt. Tabor, site of multiplication. (b)
