Day 1     Wednesday     Amman     WELCOME TO JORDAN!!!   
After you arrive, clear customs and pick up your luggage you will be met by our representative.  That person will be holding a sign with your name on it.   You will be transferred to your hotel.

Afternoon at leisure.

Day 2       Thursday     Amman / Petra
After breakfast at the hotel, depart for a tour south of Amman.  Visit Madaba and Mount Nebo; the highest point in the Moabit range which has been a center for pilgrimages since earliest Christian times.

Madaba has some of the finest Byzantine mosaics in the world including the famous 6th century mosaic map of Palestine.

Continue drive via kings highway and Wadi Al Mujib and the Dead Sea area.  Proceed to Visit Kerak Castle, It is located on the south side of the town of Kerak, 124 km south of Amman.

Kerak is the largest late Islamic castle in Jordan. It was initially constructed in the Crusader period and expanded and refortified during the Ayyubid and Mamluk periods.  

After that continue to Petra.

Day 3     Friday     Petra
After breakfast, full day tour of the Red Rose City Petra.  Upon arrival  begin an unforgettable trip on horse back to the siq.  Contunue by foot until you reach the Treasury.  The local guide will give a brief history of it city, the greatest tourist attraction in the Middle East.

 The Nabateans carved this capital of theirs from the living rock of the surrounding mountains in Petra.  Among other monuments for the visit today Pharaoh's Castle, Triumphal Arch, Amphitheater and the Monastery.

Return to the hotel.
     Overnight  PETRA PANORAMA HOTEL, Petra  

Day 4     Saturday     Petra / Dead Sea
After breakfast drive to little Petra (Al-Beidah) approximately 5 miles from the city. The ruins of the ancient village date back some 9000 years and, like Jericho constitute one of the oldest archaeological sites in the Middle East.

Continue driving approximately 65 miles south to Wadi Rum.  The area is a vast silent landscape of ancient riverbeds and pastle-colored desert.  It is the largest and most magnificent of Jordan's desert.

Begin a  two hour drive in a  4X4 vehicle tour inside the desert then arrive at the Dead Sea area for dinner and overnight.

Day 5     Sunday     Dead Sea / Amman
After breakfast at the hotel, return to Amman. 

Upon arrival begin city tour.  Visit the Amphitheater, and the Citadel.  

Continue to Crusaders Castle Of Ajlun (Qalat Rabadh) 45 minutes north of Amman, This is an Islamic Castle built high on a hill over looking the entire Jordan valley below. 

Proceed through the pine forests and olive groves until reaching the ancient Greco Roman city of Jerash. The guide will take you for a tour through the colonnaded street, amphitheater, churches, temples and the vast Roman Forum.

Return to the hotel.

Day 6      Monday      Amman / Allenby Bridge / Jerusalem   
You will be driven to the Allenby Bridge to cross into Israel

After you arrive, clear customs and pick up your luggage you will be met by our representative.  That person will be holding a sign with your name on it.  From the bridge you will be transferred to your hotel.

Afternoon at leisure.
     Overnight GRAND COURT HOTEL, Jerusalem

Day 7     Tuesday       Jerusalem (Old City) Bethlehem
Drive to Mt. Scopus for view of Jerusalem, then to the Garden of Gethsemane and Church of the Agony. Drive to Mt. Zion for a visit to the tomb of King David, the Room of the Last Supper and Dormition Abbey. 

Sightseeing in the new city including the Israel Museum, the Shrine of the Book, with the famous Dead Sea scrolls, new Supreme Court building. Proceed to Mt’ Herzl and Yad Vashem (the memorial to the six million Jews who were killed in the Holocaust).

Then visit the model of the Heordian city of Jerusalem dating back to the time of the Second Temple. Visit the synagogue with Marc Chagall stained glass windows at the Hadassah Medical Center, then via Ein Karem (the birth place of John the Baptist).

Return to Hotel.    
        Overnight GRAND COURT HOTEL, Jerusalem

Day 8     Wednesday Jerusalem (Old City) Bethlehem
Walk through the Jaffa Gate to the City: the renewed Jewish Quarter, the Western Wall, the Temple area, then colorful bazaars, Via Dolorosa, and the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Continue to Bethlehem to visit Rachel’s Tomb and the Church of the Nativity and return to Jerusalem for overnight.

Day 9     Thursday      Beit Shean / Tiberias-Galilee
Leave Jerusalem and drive north via Jericho, the oldest city in the world. Then through the Jordan Valley and the new settlements to Beit Shean. Visit the excavations of this beautiful Roman Decapolis city. Proceed to Tiberias, the old center of Jewish learning.

Drive along the shores of the Sea of Galilee to Capernaum to visit the ruins of the ancient synagogue.

Continue to a Kibbutz hotel for overnight. 
        Overnight GALILEE KIBBUTZ, KFAR GILADI, Galilee

Day 10     Friday     Upper Galilee / Golan Heights / Nazareth
After breakfast proceed to Crusaders Castle Of Ajlun (Qalat Rabadh) 45 minutes north of Amman. Here you will see an Islamic Castle built high on a hill over looking the entire Jordan valley below.

Return to the hotel.
      Overnight   AL LIWAN HOTEL, Amman

Drive to the Golan Heights. Visit the former Syrian fortifications, Birkat Ram, and the Druze Drive to the Golan Heights.  Via Banias, source of the Jordan River then proceed to Kiryat Shmone and the Hula Valley to Safed.

Continue to City of the Kabbalah, to visit the old synagogue and artists’ colony and then to Nazareth to visit the Christian holy sites.

Return to the Kibbutz hotel for overnight.
      Overnight GALILEE KIBBUTZ, KFAR GILADI, Galilee

Day 11 Thursday     Saturday     Acre / Haifa / Tel Aviv
Leave the Kibbutz hotel for Acre to visit the old, famous Crusader stronghold and medieval fortifications. Continue to Haifa, including the Bahai Shrine.  Persian Garden and Mount Carmel for a panoramic view of the city.

Proceed southwards to Caesarea to visit the Roman theater and the Crusader fortress. Drive via Natanya to Tel Aviv.

Day 12 Friday     Sunday     Tel Aviv
Day at leisure in Tel Aviv.
