Itinerary:
Day 1: Saturday, Arrival Split
On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The
balance of the day is free. Dinner this evening at your hotel. (B,
D)
Day 2: Sunday, in SPLIT
In the morning, take a sightseeing tour of the historic inner city,
built around the Roman Emperor Diocletian’s Palace, a
UNESCO World Heritage Site. Discover Roman, Renaissance,
and Gothic landmarks, including Jupiter’s Temple, the Peristyle,
and the Cathedral. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore Split
or relax at the beach. (B)
Optional Excursion: Visit the jet-set island of Hvar, a favorite
among the rich and famous.
Day 3: Monday, to TROGIR and PLITVICE LAKES
After breakfast, head to Trogir, a hub of artistic and cultural
activity. Then travel inland to Plitvice Lakes National Park.
Enjoy a walking tour of the lower lakes and take in the park’s
stunning natural beauty—sixteen terraced lakes connected by
cascading waterfalls and surrounded by lush forests. (B, D)
Day 4: Tuesday, to OPATIJA, POSTOJNA, BLED, SLOVENIA
Return to the coast and travel along scenic Kvarner Bay to the
elegant resort town of Opatija. After some free time, continue
north to Postojna Cavesto explore one of Europe’s largest cave
systems aboard a miniature electric train. Later, continue to Bled,
a picturesque alpine town nestled in the Julian Alps. (B, D)
Day 5: Wednesday, BLED
Set against the backdrop of towering peaks, Bled was first
"discovered" by travelers in the mid-19th century. A sightseeing
tour highlights the town, the lakeshore, and stunning views from
Bled Castle, perched high on a cliff above the lake. The afternoon
is free to explore at your own pace.(B)
Optional Excursion: Visit the island in the middle of the lake,
browse local boutiques, or simply enjoy the enchanting scenery.
Day 6: Thursday, to LJUBLJANA and ZAGREB, CROATIA
Leave the mountains and head to Ljubljana, the capital of
Slovenia. See the most significant sights of the old city center on
a walking tour. Highlights include the picturesque open-air Central
Market, the Three Bridges, Baroque Town Hall, and Robba's
Fountain. Then, continue to Zagreb, Croatia’s capital city. (B, D)
Day 7: Friday, ZAGREB, CROATIA
Leave the mountains and head to Ljubljana, the capital of
Slovenia. On a walking tour, explore the most significant sights of
the old city center, including the picturesque open-air Central
Market, the Three Bridges, Baroque Town Hall, and Robba’s
Fountain. Then, continue to Zagreb, the capital of Croatia. (B)
Day 8: Saturday, depart Zagreb
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Zagreb airport for
your departure flight. (B)

Day 2 – SUNDAY: Explore Zagreb
This morning, enjoy a city tour featuring the historic Upper Town, St. Mark’s Church, St. Catherine’s Church, the Cathedral, Parliament, and the Government Palace.
The rest of the day is yours to explore the winding streets of the old town or join us for an optional excursion to see the countryside. (B)

Day 3 – MONDAY: Ljubljana & Bled
After breakfast, head towards Ljubljana – the capital of Slovenia. Take a walking tour to see the most significant sights of the old city center.
Highlights include the picturesque open-air Central Market, the Three Bridges, Baroque Town Hall, and Robba’s Fountain.

Day 4 – TUESDAY: Explore Bled
Bled, an Alpine Lake surrounded by high peaks, was “discovered” by travelers in the middle of the 19th century. Enjoy a sightseeing tour of the lake shore
and charming town, and visit the imposing Bled Castle – perched on a cliff high above the lake.
The rest of the day is yours to continue exploring. Browse through the shops and boutiques, or simply relax in the enchanting scenery.

Day 5 – WEDNESDAY: Journey to Plitvice Lakes
Continue to Postojna – home to one of the largest caves in Europe. Tour this fantastic subterranean world by miniature electric train.
Afterward, continue to the coast and have a stop in Opatija. Enjoy a walking tour of this fashionable resort from the 19th century, dotted
with Habsburg-era villas.
After some free time, continue towards Plitvice Lakes. (B, D)

Day 6 – THURSDAY: Plitvice Lakes
After breakfast, have your camera ready as you take a walking tour around the lower lakes. The breathtaking scenery of this natural wonder
includes sixteen terraced lakes surrounded by thickly wooded mountains and lush vegetation.
After the tour, head to Split. Overnight in Split. (B, D)
